Celebrating Arabic Month!
This month, we celebrated Arabic Month with a series of exciting activities that showcased our love for the Arabic language and culture. Each event was designed to be enjoyable and educational for everyone who participated.
One of the standout events was the storytelling session. People of all ages gathered to share their favourite Arabic tales. It was amazing to hear the different stories and the way each storyteller brought their narrative to life. The energy in the room was fantastic, as everyone listened intently and engaged with each story. The event highlighted the richness of Arabic literature and its traditions.

Following that, we organised a thrilling treasure hunt! Year 7 students ventured across the school, finding clues, and looking for hidden facts that were connected to Arabic culture and history. It turned out to be a fun-filled adventure, with lots of laughter and teamwork.
Other year groups also had the opportunity to learn about and test their knowledge of the Arabic cultures in a fun quiz! Everyone enjoyed the challenge and learned interesting facts about Arabic heritage along the way.
Another highlight was the Arabic calligraphy competition. Talented artists came forward to showcase their skills, creating beautiful pieces of art through their writing. It was wonderful to see the different styles and the creativity on display.
To wrap up our celebrations, we had an Arabic lunch with lots of delicious dishes! Rose harissa chicken & chickpea tagine was many students’ favourite!
These activities made our Arabic Month a true celebration of language and culture, and we look forward to more events in the future!
