Ever wondered what it’s like to stitch up a wound?

Yesterday, our aspiring medics had the incredible opportunity to take part in Suture the Future, a hands-on workshop where they learned essential suturing techniques. Led by medical students from UCL, the session provided practical skills alongside valuable advice on the medical school application process.

Not only did I gain hands-on experience learning how to stitch wounds, but I also had meaningful conversations with medical students from UCL about the application process. The insight into studying medicine at university was invaluable and helped me reflect on what I can do as a Year 12 student to boost my application. A huge thank you to Mrs Ali and the UCL students for making this session possible!
