Our "Fabulous Moroccan Healthy Cooking Session"

Many of our children can be fussy eaters so offering them a new alternative dish from a different cuisine can encourage them to eat. In collaboration with Kathy from School Food Matters, we cooked some exciting Moroccan dishes which  can be shared with family. This included Zaahlouk a dish made from baked aubergines accompanied with khobz a traditional bread. We also cooked Za’atar Baked Fish using white fish which is budget friendly.

Fabulous Moroccan healthy cooking session, thank you so much to our CFGS Parent Outreach worker Bahar, Natasha and Cathy who joined us for a wonderful experience. I enjoyed every minute! - Naharun

The cooking session was lots of fun, I'm looking forward to more like this. Moroccan dishes are exciting and I can now learn and share this with my family. I had a great time and learnt new skills, tried new spices and it was fantastic. Thank you for this wonderful experience!  - Meriem

It was one of the most delightful experiences of my life, being around other parents and cooking Moroccan food. Thank you to Bahar and the cooking team who joined us at CFGS. There was a friendly atmosphere in the kitchen which made the experience even more enjoyable!  - Asima
