Music Summer Concert

This year’s Annual Summer Concert was a vibrant celebration of music, talent and teamwork that united the school community in dazzling fashion. Held during a scorching heatwave, our students persevered to deliver four unforgettable shows, delighting various year groups and proud parents alike.

A Showcase of Talent

With over 80 students involved in 25 dynamic acts, the concert was a true feast for the senses. The quality of music was consistently high across all performances:

  • Steel pan groups brought infectious summer vibes and tropical flair
  • Singers performed with emotional depth and remarkable accuracy
  • Instrumentalists stunned with their technical finesse and musical sophistication

The students’ commitment and courage were evident in every note — an inspiring display of collaboration and artistry.

Standout Moments

Highlights included:

  • TJ’s electrifying rock solo on drums to “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, a crowd favourite
  • The Year 7 cohort — all 240 students — singing “I Want It That Way” alongside the Year 7 Pop Band
  • Powerful farewell performances from Afia, Shyra, and Alyssa in Year 11
  • Returning alumni gracing us with expressive, elegant piano pieces

These unforgettable moments made the concert more than a showcase — they made it a celebration.

Final Thoughts

Against the backdrop of soaring temperatures, our students created something spectacular. Their energy, resilience, and passion transformed the concert into a shimmering summer memory — one that will echo in our hearts long after the last note faded.

We couldn’t be prouder.
