Positive Parent Programme: "I have seen a positive change at home".
We held a Positive Parent Programme aimed at supporting and guiding our parents in building stronger relationships with their children. This programme helps parents support their children both at school and at home, while also teaching new skills for effective parenting. Participants learn strategies for handling challenging behaviour and the importance of praise, leading to more positive family dynamics.

Parents Say:

This course helped me to develop a stronger bond with my children. It has given me tools to deal with challenging behaviours at home. Being in the course has elevated some of my anxiety and stress as a parent. It was wonderful and useful to listen to other parents and share our experiences in parenting, which has given me confidence in managing behaviours and my own relationships with mine. I have seen a positive change at home with my children and family as a whole. - Atiya
I chose to take this course because my daughter was excited about starting a new school. However, when she got there, she wouldn't sit to eat school lunch, make new friends, or increase her social interactions. Thankfully, I have learned strategies that have helped me support her. Now, she is more sociable and enjoys break time. - Roushonara

I joined this course to build a support network outside my family and friends. It felt like a "therapy session" through the discussions we had and the perspectives we gained from other parents in similar situations. I developed parenting skills and achieved a stronger connection with my daughter. I learned to identify situations and behaviors, the importance of family meetings and check-ins, the benefits of positive praise, staying calm when speaking, and finding alternative activities to do with my children besides watching TV and using phones. - Papiya
I felt my daughter was hiding things from me and found it difficult to talk about issues with her friends. I also noticed she didn't like receiving advice. Through the program, I learned how to handle these situations by improving my communication approach with her, listening, and understanding instead of responding immediately. - Bilkis

I am now more confident with my parenting skills than ever before. I spend more time with my daughter, ensure we celebrate even the smallest successes! - Baboueorr
